Bear P.R.I.D.E. Peers Respecting Individuality, Diversity, and Excellence

We hope that this website will assist you in keeping up with all of the outstanding activities and programs that are constantly on-going throughout the school year. Our motto is BEAR P.R.I.D.E. (Peers Respecting Individuality, Diversity, and Excellence). Our mission is to create high school readiness through a rigorous and respectful learning environment. We are proud of our school and strive to provide the best educational experience possible for all of our students. We are currently finishing up a renovation that has provided upgrades to our classrooms, improvements to our school security, and an addition of the Henry Davis Boys and Girls Club which is now open and taking registrations.

We have an "open door" here at BMS and encourage you to make a difference in your child’s education by building good relationships with your child's teachers and other staff members. Take an active role in your child's education by creating an environment at home that stresses the value of education and provides a quiet place for reading or studying.

School Picture Days

School picture days will be held on Tuesday, October 27th (Blue Day) and Wednesday, October 28th (Yellow Day) in the Boys & Girls Club gymnasium.

For our remote, at-home learners we are asking them to come to school briefly to have their picture taken during their scheduled Social Studies class-time. For example, if you have 1st hour Social Studies class, we are asking that your child come between the hours 7:40-9:10AM to be photographed on the appropriate day. If your child has 4th hour social studies, you'd come anytime 1:30PM to 3:05PM...etc. If your student is a BLUE student, they would come on Tuesday.....Wednesday if they are YELLOW.

Students should be dropped off at the Bryan Middle School main lobby area and will get their pictures taken in the Boys & Girls Club gym. They will then exit the south side of the building for parents to pick them up.

Picture selections, orders and payment(s) can all be done through the Scholastic Photography website: www.ScholasticPhotography.com. Cash or check payments can be made by picking up a Scholastic envelope at the Bryan Middle School main office. All in person students will all receive an envelope to take home through CUBS classes. Envelopes will be placed in CUBS's teacher's mailbox for distribution the week of 10/19.

Our goal is to get 100% of our student's photograph's updated, but safety is our top priority! So, if anyone is not feeling well, or if individuals in your household are displaying any COVID symptoms, please stay home. Please follow any/all COVID safety protocols. We want everyone to be safe.

If you have any questions, please contact the school at 531.299.2300.
