Ms. Foley - Science

Hello!  I am Lorrie Foley, 7th grade Science teacher here at Bryan Middle School.  The 2020-2021 school year will be my 20th year as an educator.  I am so excited to be a Bryan Bear as this has a special place in my heart!  I was a Bryan Bear when I was in middle school as well as high school, so I feel as if I am right where I was meant to be all along!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Education K-9 from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) from Concordia University in Oregon.  I also take a large part in developing lesson plans for the Omaha District in Science.

I love to spend my time at home with my Sphynx cats reading or listening to a good book, cooking, and being outside.  I have two grown children, a daughter and a son as well as three beautiful grandchildren.  We spend a lot of time together in the summer with BBQs and parks.

One of my favorite quotes is “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”

(Albert Einstein).

I am looking forward to becoming a member of the Bear family, please stop by and say hi!
