Bear P.R.I.D.EPeers Respecting Individuality, Diversity, and Excellence

Spring 2018                                                                                                    Quarter 3: Risk and Exploration

Happy New Year and Third Quarter Bears!

We are halfway through the school year, and it's rolling forward fast like an Amtrak train!

ELA Q3's Enduring Understanding:  We will encounter individuals who must confront the compelling question of "How far is too far?" in regards to taking risks and exploration.

During this quarter, we will learn and practice argument or opinion writing, so choose your side and find evidence to prove your point.  We maintain working on our reading, writing, listening, speaking, and researching skills, along with growth mindsets as we take our second MAP test to check our skill growth.

Our classroom continues to run like a well-oiled machine on its routines, procedures, and expectations.  Key expectations are to be respectful, and treat everyone the way you want to be treated.  Our school rules: Be Responsible. Be Prepared. Be Safe.

In addition, I am on social media, so you may follow me on Facebook and Twitter; link or address can be found on the right side of this page.

Let's keep it moving!

who believes in you, who tugs and
pushes and leads you to the next
plateau, sometimes poking you with
a sharp stick called 'truth.'"
