My name is Jessica Korth and I am Bryan Middle School's Instructional Facilitator. My role is to support teachers and their instruction. I work with teachers to help them incorporate research-based instructional practice and the professional reflection process regarding their classroom practices. Instructional Facilitators align professional development to the school's improvement plan while monitoring implementation during coaching visits. My other role is supporting school data and organizing student testing for the district and state. This includes NWEA/MAP (growth test) and the NSCAS (state test).
I am starting my 23rd year with Omaha Public Schools, 21 of them being a Bryan Bear! I received my undergraduate degree from Wayne State College in Elementary Education, my Middle-Level Endorsement from UNO, my Masters in the Art of Teaching Mathematics from UNL, and my Master of Education in Teaching and Leadership from Midland University. I have my National Board Teaching Certificate in Mathematics. I also work as an adjunct professor at UNO and Bellevue University. In my free time I enjoy reading, PiYo, hanging out with my family, and playing with my two chihuahuas and cat.
