My name is Brianna Walentine, and I am an Instructional Facilitator at Bryan Middle School. My role is to support teachers, their instruction, and improving outcomes for students. I support teachers as they focus on teaching and learning through research-based instructional practices, professional learning, and reflection to improve student outcomes. Instructional Facilitators align professional development to the school's improvement plan while monitoring implementation during coaching visits. My other role is organizing family engagement nights.
I am starting my 16th year with Omaha Public Schools. This is my first year as a Bryan Bear and I am so excited to be here! I have taught middle school science for the past 15 years. I received my undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College in History/Chemistry, my secondary-teaching certification from College of St. Mary’s, my Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and my TESOL from Concordia University. I also coach girls swimming here at Bryan Middle and am the assistant varsity swimming coach for Omaha South. In my free time I enjoy camping, spending time with my family, and playing with my two English mastiffs.
