Bryan Middle School has a wide variety of athletic and extracurricular opportunities available to all students.  Students are encouraged to take advantage of these offerings, which promote teamwork, community service, school pride, and involvement.  Becoming involved in extracurricular activities can be such a crucial element to a student's success in school.  Please take advantage of all the sports or activities that Bryan Middle School has to offer!

After School Tutoring Program

The after school tutoring program is designed for students who want regular help after school to support their work in the classroom.  Please contact the school and inquire with Mrs. Palmquist regarding tutoring. 531.299.2300

Anime Club

6, 7, & 8

Anime club is an after-school group that celebrates all things manga and anime. Starting October 1st and meeting every Wednesday, we will watch anime, discuss manga, and hold fun competitions. Ganbatte!

GATE Activities

 

6, 7, & 8

Students in the GATE Program will have the opportunity to participate in African American History Challenge, FERMI Math League, Book Blasters, National History Day, Poetry Slam, Debate, Spelling B, and other enrichment activities.

Math Counts

A national middle school mathematics competition that builds problem-solving skills and fosters achievement through four levels of fun, in-person "bee" style contests.

National Anthem Singers

This group performs the national anthem at BMS activities and events.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)

 

7 and 8

NJHS is where the world's highest achieving middle level students have been proudly adding to their resumes since 1929. There is only one NJHS, and it provides an outstanding opportunity to grow with academically accomplished peers who are sharpening the habits needed for success in high school and beyond.

Native Indigenous Centered Education (N.I.C.E)

The N.I.C.E program provides support for Indigenous students.  We believe educational success and life achievement for our Indigenous population is accomplished by advocacy, sustained cultural identity, family involvement, strong communication and positive life experiences.

Pep Band

Band students are invited to be part of the Pep band.  This group performs at BMS athletics and other events. Meets Wednesdays after school.

Piano Club

This club is for students who are interested in learning to read music for piano.  They will meet during 2nd Semester.

Robotics Matthew Rutherford    

Show Choir

This group learns about the performance aspects of Show Choir.  They perform at concerts and other BMS events.  They will meet during 1st Semester.

Student Council

This group of young leaders works to make a difference in their school and community. These dedicated students take on the responsibility of representing their classmates' voices and concerns. They organize events, plan fundraisers, and initiate projects that foster unity and school spirit.

Yearbook Club

This groups attends BMS activities to take pictures of the action for the annual yearbook.  They also work to put together the pages on the yearbook website, take orders, and deliver the books in May.

U.B.U. Club
