Omaha Public Schools is pleased to recognize the following staff and students for their academic, extracurricular and professional achievements:
- Chad Wilcox, Westview High social studies teacher, for receiving the 2025 Excellence in Teaching Award from the Churchill Society of Omaha.
- Katie Czerwiec, Beveridge Middle language arts teacher, for earning a 2026 Nebraska Excellence in Teaching Award from the Nebraska Department of Education.
- Keairra Watson, King Elementary second grade teacher, for earning a 2026 Nebraska Excellence in Teaching Award from the Nebraska Department of Education
- All Omaha Public Schools students selected to perform in the All-City Music Festival.
